addressing sexual harassment at the workplace

goal setting
that actually
works

all around the world, women are making great strides; yet why are we so far from where we should be?

“I ask no favor for my sex. All I ask of our brethren is that they take their feet of our necks”

The #MeToo movement woke us up to the harsh reality of what women have to deal with. In the summer of 2020, under the auspices of Lean In Malaysia, we hosted an exclusive screening of the film, Nevertheless from Emmy-award documentary filmmaker Sarah Moshman, and thanks to Indieflix brought this to Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore and beyond in Asia.

Since I started hosting at the age of 9 on RTM I saw first hand the power of media in action and it has always been my dream to see real content with a purpose become mainstream. Sarah Moshman’s work blew me away, and I was compelled to share this important message with all of you – some of you have come forward to me and trusted me with your story, and I take this all very, very seriously. This film inspired me, helped me rethink the root of why gender inequality is still unsolved and importantly I hope, will help some of you going through the hard stuff be seen, be heard, and with the help of experts on the panel, navigate what’s next.

Tune in to our panel about the impact of sexual harassment and why this conversation matters in really, advancing women in leadership below.

Special thanks to Speak Up Malaysia, IndieFlix, Women Aid’s Org for your partnership.
